Roadfile is designed to keep your mileage records on your device.

Data Roadfile Stores

Roadfile stores mileage records, saved cars, odometer values, trip purpose, classification, notes, route distance, and start/end location information locally on your iPhone.

Location

Roadfile uses location to record trip distance and start/end addresses. Background location may be used so a drive can be logged while the app is not open.

Bluetooth and Car Connections

Roadfile uses Bluetooth, CarPlay, and related car connection signals available from iOS to detect saved cars and help start mileage logging.

Backups and Exports

You can export PDF or CSV reports and backup files. You can also choose a Files folder for autosave. These exports and backups are controlled by you and stored wherever you choose.

Accounts, Analytics, and Tracking

Roadfile does not require an account. Roadfile does not use third-party advertising, tracking, or analytics SDKs.

Sharing With the Developer

Roadfile does not send your mileage records to the developer. If you contact support and choose to share screenshots, files, or details, that information will be used only to help with your request.
